Being one of the original buildings on Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach, The Breakers Restaurant is a popular destination amongst locals and tourists in the area not only for its outstanding burgers, craft beer and cocktails, but also scenic ocean views.

Looking for a warmer climate, the McKenney family relocated to Florida and acquired the restaurant in 1990. After a complete renovation of both the interior and exterior of the building, The Breakers Restaurant emerged in bright pink against the white sandy beaches with ample seating area around the bar.

The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM and also offers take away.

Not only burgers...

Voted in the top 5 burger joints in Central Florida by Orlando My Way, you can choose from 17 different types of juicy burgers: Beach Burger, Three Cheese Burger, Bacon Burger, Hawaiian Burger, Veggie Burger, or the Inferno Burger with that extra bit of hotness to name a few. Choose your sides from fries, coleslaw, macaroni or potato salad to go with your burger.

It's not just burgers! Pick your favorite from an assortment of appetizers, whether it's Fish Bites, Skewered Shrimp or the recommended Buffalo Wings, or a number of fresh salads and sandwiches that come with the side of your choice, just like with any of the burgers.

And it doesn't end there! A variety of seafood or Mexican food is also on offer and the joint also serves a selection of dinner items after 5 PM every day. Should you be out and about with your kids, a children's menu is also available.

Our visit to The Breakers Ocean Front Restaurant & Bar was an overall excellent experience. The atmosphere was very nice, the waitress was sweet as can be & the food was awesome. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible. The food came out pretty fast despite them being at near full capacity. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great burger & everyone else who ate different things all enjoyed them as well.

Love coming here, year after year. The place is actually known for having some of the best burgers around. Historically, I've always selected some fresh fish or shrimp. The seafood menus isn't complex but the the things they do, they do very well. The fish and chips basket is quite excellent. The fried shrimp are also excellent. Not too bready and full of flavor. With the entire back wall being full of large sliding windows, you get an unhindered beachside experience as the water is just a few places out the back if the restaurant. I don't believe anyone will leave this place disappointed.

It's a cute little restaurant right on the water. It has a beautiful view of the ocean, the service us wonderful, and the food is phenomenal. This restaurant has the best burgers in New Smyrna Beach.
